Starting with one metalhead recording from home, White Mammoth became a band in late 2015 with four music students with a passion for Progressive Metal.
Our first show was in Shipley Working Men’s club, Heanor, Derbyshire, to a crowd including Richard Shaw, of Cradle of Filth. Since then, we mostly play throughout the Northwest as we are based in Liverpool.
Receiving a good response from our audiences and fellow musicians, we have supported the likes of Dorje and Anti-Clone and headline our own gigs.
In early 2017, the line up changed. Sam Rogers joined us on drums, and Richie Parkhouse on bass. This was a dramatic change for the overall sound scape for the band, and we became heavier than ever with both Sam and Richies metal influences. White Mammoth played as a 3 piece for about 6 months.
But there was still something missing. So in early 2018 they recruited good friend, and all round guitar demon Calvin Williams. This completed the line up, and they have gone from strength to strength ever since.
